Goals:
22nd minute- McKenzie pulls down a Salamanca attacker in the area and the following PK is converted, 1-0 Salamanca.
29th minute- Off a corner kick, Hohlbein is elbowed while trying to hit a header on frame. Hirsig scores the PK.
35th minute- Salamanca puts a forward through with a long ball and he slots home the 1v1 against Pardo.
52nd minute- We worked a great combo up the left, starting with Pardo rolling the ball out for Marquess. He and Souter worked all the way up the wing, eventually Marquess beat a defender at the top of the box and won the end line, sliding a pass back for Thompson for an easy tap home from close range.
59th minute- Kraus played the ball wide right for Zusi at the corner of the area. Zusi cut inside around a defender and smashed a hard-hit ball that the goalkeeper couldn't control. The rebound bounced free and Watson followed up to tap in for a 3-2 lead.
78th minute- Salamanca's right winger got by a defender and hit a low shot inside the back post that beat Brown from about 18 yards out for a 3-3 tie.

Notes:
-The first half was pretty even with 7 shots for us and 6 for them.
-Most of the players who started the last couple of preseason matches will come in and play the final 20 minutes or so.
-We outshot them 13-8 after the break.
-Gomez played for the first time since injuring himself the third training session of the year.
-Zusi has now played a part in 9 goals this preseason. He has two goals himself, five assists, drew a PK in one game and took the shot that led to Watson's goal today.
-We play Salamanca again Tuesday at 11 a.m.
-The team returns Wednesday late and will begin training possibly Thursday afternoon late but definitely Friday.
