 Wizards Tie Chicago 2-2 Saturday

WOW, what a comeback. After falling behind 2-0 after 20 minutes through two strikes from Brian McBride, Wizards goalkeeper Kevin Hartman makes four brilliant second-half stops to keep the team alive, and Josh Wolf scores his first two goals of the year to earn a valuable road point. Claudio Lopez assisted on both Wolff efforts to reach 10 assists in a Wizards uniform. There are a million other tidbits from tonight, but instead of re-typing them all here, I'll let you look below. Coach's was packed. We had both sides of the restaurant full of Wizards fans and the outside patio.

Lopez does NOT deserve an assist for that pass to Harrington. That's an abuse of the secondary assist. MLS has it right, only Harrington should get the assist.

Jeff, I always post under my screen name. I didn't leave that comment, although I do agree with it that Lopez shouldn't get an assist for it.

If they give secondary assists, then Lopez should be given one. MLS is really bad at not being equal on the secondary assists.
