It's a possibility. U.S. Soccer released the list of stadiums and municipalities contacted about becoming a World Cup host venue should our country win the bid for either the 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cups. In all, 50 metro areas and 70 stadiums are on the full list. Check that out at ussoccer.com. The KC Star included a short blurb today. Read that and offer your comments on what World Cup matches would do for the KC area.
World Cup to KC?

Granted it would be cool to have The Cup games or should I say a Cup game or two, in KC but I would rather have some of them at the new stadium KC Wizards is building than to have it at Arrowhead. I know the seating capacity is more at Arrowhead but watching them play on a American Football Field rather than a real Soccer pitch, just disgusts me!
