St. Louis?
AKA NOT the home of the Kansas City Wizards!!!!
Oh well at least it's Atlas whom we played last season.
Come on both of you clowns, the reasons for playing in stl have been pretty well explained around the blogosphere today. If not, start paying attention, then get over it and get ready for a short road trip. We can mock the stl fans about being the only soccer city in the state. Oh then write the Mayor and tell him why we need Hillcrest Road built A-S-A-f'ing-P!
Very mature anon 3. How about a double header for the T-Bones? A money incentive maybe to give us the night we need. Do you really think that the T-Bones will refuse the money.
Clowns? really? how about they are fans that care about the team and who have the right to be pissed.
The fact that the FO "gave an explanation" doesn't mean that we have to like it nor does it mean that we have to take as the "great undeniable truth"
Short road trip? I'm glad some people have no issue driving 8 hours for a game that we should have at home. Game ends at 18:30 + 4 hr drive at least. Yes that's really easy to pull of if you want the family to go.
I really wish the STL peopl don't show and that we get half of the 10,500 we would have gotten here in KC with a Mexican team.

Now who's the immature one. Hint: Look in the mirror.
Chill out boys, why the Oliver Stone paranoia approach to the FO? Think about it for a minute...do you really think the FO WANTED to put it in SL?????? And you know more than them about CABP's avaialbility? Do tell. Not excusing everything, but come on, give them the benefit of the doubt here.
That's why blogs run by the teams suck. Someone posts something against a front office decision or the team and some little minion is tasked to refute everything and make personnal attacks.
Fans have the right to be pissed Sparky because alot will miss the game. Stop attacking them and let them speak their mind.
You guys should try and be (and sorry for the cliche) "like Mike" (@ downbytheline) and respect people's comments. BTW, respect doesn't mean agree with them, but it sure as hell means not calling the "clowns"
Just 2c worth from another perspective...but it seems the fact that the team allows all comments to remain on here is a pretty good indication of the FO's "freedom of speech" approach. I can't remember a single time I've read about a post being deleted. I could be wroong, but seems that way.
What would be nice is for someone from the FO to post a hoinest discussion of why the game was moved so we all can judge for ourselves instead of a bunch of infighting among those who dont really know whats going on.
Can you help with that Hillcrest?
Previous Anon. I agree with you completely, but allowing someone to attack fans at a personal level (like Anon#3) is in a way curtailing their freedom of expression at a certain level.
The 1st 2 posters expressed their opinion and got called clowns, eventhough they just showed their displeasure at the decision. A serious blog would limit or flag the personal attacks. Here it seems like they take on the position of "an enemy of my enemy (the disgruntled fan) is my friend" and let it go.
I also agree that either here or on the BigSoccer forums something should be said by the FO, not just a press release.
A bit overly sensitive aren't we? Yes "clown" wasnt "nice", but for goodness sakes clown isn't really in the personal attack category is it???
And in spite of being mean, I agree with anon 11:44 that I have a hard time thinking the FO would want to put the game in St Louis unless they had no choice.
