As most of you know, we play Santos Laguna to wrap up SuperLiga group play. Don't forget that the match is Special Game A for season ticket holders. A win will clinch our advancement. If we tie and New England beats Atlas, we are also through. Here are the rest of the scenarios:
The winner between Revolution v Atlas will qualify for the semifinals. If the Revolution-Atlas match is a tie, then the Revs will qualify for the semifinals. The only way the Revolution cannot be in the semifinals is if Atlas and Kansas City both win.
If NE wins, and KC wins, then NE (1) and KC (2) are in the semis
If NE wins, and SAN wins, then NE (1) and SAN (2) are in the semis
If NE wins, and KC-SAN tie, then NE (1) and KC (2) are in the semis
If ATS wins, and KC wins, then ATS and KC are in the semis. The group placings will be decided by the respective margin of victories (each have 0 GD right now).
If ATS wins, and SAN wins, then ATS (1) and NE (2) are in the semis (NE on HTH)
If ATS wins, and KC-SAN tie, then ATS (1) and NE (2) are in the semis
If NE-ATS is a tie, and KC wins, then NE and KC are in the semis. KC will win the group if they win by three goals or more, or if they win by a 4-2 score, the group winner will be decided by coinflip.
If NE-ATS is a tie, and SAN wins, then NE (1) and SAN (2) are in the semis
If NE-ATS is a tie, and KC-SAN tie, then NE (1) is in the semis. KC and ATS will be tied with 3 pts and 0 GD; the winner of the group will be decided on goals scored (now: KC 1 GF; ATS 0 GF).
