They say pictures are worth a thousand words, and seeing as many, many times that have already been written about Chad Ochocinco's tryout with Sporting KC, here are some photos of the NFL star in action on the soccer field. Exclusive video from day two is also available at SportingKC.com.
Ochocinco called Wednesday a "superb day on the pitch" prior to admitting he pales in comparison to the slightly more experienced and soccer-skilled SKC players, who he's promised to take to dinner at Fogo De Chao tonight.
He'll be heading out to LIVESTRONG Sporting Park tomorrow to take a tour of a stadium site that is coming to life as we get closer and closer to its June 9th grand opening. Read this week's construction memo from Turner here, as well as the Kansas City Star's update posted earlier today.

I was one of the unruly fans who was vehemently opposed to this publicity stunt. I uttered an unending litany of curses and venom when this came to fruition. I say that to qualify myself as staunchly opposed to this from its onset. It should say something that I am now starting to have second thoughts. I have watched his interviews and I am finding that he actually has endearing qualities. The kid has a tremendous work ethic, he is brutally honest about his talent and seems genuinely humbled by this opportunity. I may hate myself in the morning for saying it, but I kind of hopes the NFL stays on lock out and he gets a shot at the reserve squad.
