Sporting Kansas City fell 1-0 today against Real Salt Lake in the team's final scrimmage of the 2011 pre-season. The game's lone goal came from striker Paulo Jr. in the game's 28th minute at Reach 11 in Phoenix, AZ. We're told KC goalkeeper Eric Kronberg made some solid saves in net as KC finished the pre-season 2-3-5 in all competition.
Lineups for both teams are below, including two players with KC connections who appeared for RSL...
RSL: Kyle Reynish (Tim Melia 80); Tony Beltran, Chris Schuler, Rauwshan McKenzie, Jarad vanSchaik (Nelson Gonzalez 30); Jean Alexandre, Luis Gil, Ned Grabavoy, Collen Warner; Paulo Jr. (Donny Toia 80), Connor Chinn (Jarad vanSchaik 70)
KC: Kronberg; Trialist 1 (Thomas 70), Jones, Colley, Ellis; Aiyegbusi (Mravec 70), Zusi, Rocastle; Lorenz, Sapong, Myers (Sassano 46)
