 Firehouse Subs Promo

Sporting Kansas City and Firehouse Subs partnership to Put Out the Fire is off to quite the start. Three Chicago Fire games, three Chicago Fire losses. Nothing like seeing your two closest rivals -- Chicago and FC Dallas -- tied for the most losses in MLS this season.

But beginning tomorrow, when the Fire host the Houston Dynamo, the deal will look a little different than originally announced. Don't worry, you can still get a free medium sub with the purchase of chips and a large drink, but you'll have to use a coupon found on the Sporting KC Facebook page and go between 4-7pm the day after a Fire loss. All the details are available at SportingKC.com/Firehouse, but if you have any questions, leave us a comment below and we'll be happy to help you Put Out the Fire at Firehouse Subs.

Also important to note that should the Fire lose a fourth straight on Saturday -- after all, the Dynamo are unbeaten in four straight MLS matches -- Firehouse Subs will be closed on Easter Sunday, but will honor the promotion on Monday, April 25th from 4-7pm.

What about those of us that do not have or want a facebook?

So now that it's painfully obvious that people didn't give half a rat's ass about what Sporting (or probably the Fire for that matter) did and were only interested in the free food, you change the promo?

I do not want to have to sign up for facebook to take part in this. Why not post the coupon on the sportingkc website and generate some traffic as well?

wow - and I thought everyone lived for facebook, amazing how upset people over something free...and anon 10:20 - go fellate yourself you hater...it is painfully obvious that too many people were redeeming this promotion and it probably overwhelmed firehouse...

The coupon can also be downloaded to a mobile device, but you do have to be on Facebook and be a fan of Sporting KC to access it. Tom and Elisha, give it a try -- we've got lots of great content on the Facebook page in addition to the Firehouse Subs promo.

I understand this completely. I've heard great things about Firehouse Subs, and they do have to try to make some business.

Keep up the great work Chicago Fire, and get us a win tonight SKC!

How does it feel to be on the bottom of the standings in the Eastern Conference, looking up at the team you're begging to notice you?

Great work from the Sporting Marketing department, where the Brand is more important than the game.

Firehouse Sub and the KC Sproting lost a customer even before there first home game. Great work marketing department. I was a loyal customer at Firehouse Subs and planned on going to a couple games this year. Don't change a promotion in mid year just because of your mistake!
